Surround Yourself With Good Energy

Good afternoon all,

I’ve started coaching with some of you and what a beautiful experience it has been 🙂 I wanted to expand on a topic that seemed to come up with most of you that I have spoken with. The importance of your environment, what you surround yourself with, the books you read, the people you meet, and even the energies you expose yourself to.

Some tips to keep good energy around you:

  1. Read inspiring books! Motivational Blogs! Listen to Pod Casts that interest you. Start your own Blog if you like, about the things you love in life or about a particular interest you have.
  2. Start a new project or business in line with your interests and values. Prioritize WHAT YOU WANT in life and make time to make it happen.
  3. Take responsibility for all that you say and do. Externally and internally. This brings your power back to yourself. Remind yourself; I am responsible for the thoughts I think, the things I tell myself, and also every action I take to care for myself and others.
  4. MEDITATION! This is a huge one. Since I have been meditating more I have truly been experiencing greater peace, centeredness, happiness and abundance. I recommend Belinda Davison’s chakra cleanse: http://belindadavidson.com/store/

Pay attention to the titles and subjects that interest you. Whether it be for peace, power, abundance, health, inspiration, becoming an entrepreneur, sleep. . . your body and soul will tell you which one’s to listen to and which you are are in particular need of.

  7. Take Time To RELAX! Take a bath, do a yoga class, go see a movie that interests you, treat yourself and a special person to a nice meal out. Make sure you are ENJOYING your life! Why else are you living really?
  8. Make sure you have supportive and understanding people around you. Surround yourself with people who MAKE YOU HAPPY and AT EASE, don’t worry about those people who don’t understand you or that you have to try to impress.
  9. CATCH UP ON SLEEP. Most people don’t get enough.
  10. Start a journalling and goal setting routine. I have a morning ritual I do that includes about an hour of meditation, reading spiritual texts, journalling and goal setting for each day/week/month. This helps keep me focused and my energy high and positive.
  11. Express gratitude to everyone you love and appreciate in your life. There doesn’t have to be any specific reason. If you want your life to progress in any way, you absolutely need to be grateful for what you already have. The universe will not send you more of what you want until you are thankful for what you have.
